Relative to all the other restaurants we have visited, the Prince of Bengal is very cheap. It’s a little unfair to compare it to takeaway prices which are always cheaper than dining in – and not just at Indians but in general.

“Excellent, cheap prices” How much do you normaly pay then??!!! I thought it was ridiculously expensive, the takeaway menu through my door was misleading as the prices rocket if you eat in! i think ill ask em to take the service charge off the bill next time – this is the rhondda valleys not some snob area. I will say the food is very nice though. Ok for a special occasion(due to the price) i could get double the amount from my local takeaway for less.

Update – visited 29/08/09 – quality of food not quite as good, still very nice but beef was tougher than before.
